 Chicken Pulao


Ingredients:


- 2 cup ghee

-3 medium-sized onions

-2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

-2 cinnamon sticks

-2 black cardamom

-1 star anise

-1 tbsp cumin seeds

-3 cloves

-1 mace

-10-12 peppercorns

-1 kg chicken

- Salt to taste

-1 tbsp chili flakes

-1 tsp red chili powder

-1 tbsp garam masala

-3-4 chopped tomatoes

- 5-6 green chilies

-1/2 cup yogurt

-5 cups water

- 4 cups rice (washed & soaked for 20 minutes)


Instructions:


1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the onions until brown.

Take some onions out for the end.


2. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.

Then add the whole spices and cook for another

minute.


3. Add chicken to the pan and cook until it changes

color.


4. Season with salt, chili flakes, red chili powder, and

garam masala. Cook for 3-4 minutes.


5. Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies. Cover

and cook until tomatoes are soft.


6. Stir in yogurt and cook on high flame until oil

separates.


7. Add water and let it boil. Once boiled, add soaked

rice.


8. Let the water dry. Then, add the fried onions and

garam masala on top.


9. Cover and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.


10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Chicken Pulao
