Aloo Bhukara Chutney  



 Aloo Bhukara Chutney


( Eid ul Adha Special)


Dried plums: 300 g


Sugar: 1 cup 


Pomegranate molasses: 1 tbsp (or lemon juice)


Salt: 1/2 tsp


Red chilli powder: 1/2 tsp


Water: 1/2 litres


Char magaz: 1 tbsp


Almonds: 3 tbsp blanched


In a pan add dries plums and 1/2 litres of water. Brin

to boil. 


Cover and simmer on medium heat around

10-12 minutes


Add salt & chilli powder and continue simmering for

another 6-7 minutes.


Add sugar, stir it well, add pomegranate molasses,

and cook until one string consistency.


In the last add melon seeds(char magaz) and

blanched almonds. Cook for another 2 minutes.


Turn off the heat and cool completely.


Store in air tight container in a refrigerator.


Refrigerate atleast 3 hours before serving
